Prevent the circular caries in your child

Children smile 400 times a day on average. During the same time, women smile about 62 times, while men do so only 8 times.

For the child’s smile to remain healthy and beautiful, it is necessary to avoid refined carbohydrates. They are contained in a large number of food products, including sweets, and are the main cause of circular caries. It is important not to put your baby to sleep with a feeding bottle filled with milk, formula, juice, sweetened water or tea. A bottle of pure water is the only thing which will not cause the circular caries after some time.

Circular caries is a specific form of caries which occurs in the early years.  It can extend to all teeth and spreads circularly, extending to the tooth crown, which is why it was named “circular caries”.
