At the A1 Dental studio you will be welcomed with smiles and attention by the experienced and dedicated experts and staff who will make you feel comfortable and safe.

Teeth whitening (bleaching) is a process which can make teeth up to seven or eight shades whiter.
Whitening is a chemical oxidation reaction of the external tooth surface using hydrogen and carbamide peroxide based chemicals. There are two ways of teeth whitening: surgical and night-time whitening. With surgical whitening the results are faster, but the chemicals that are used are very concentrated. The night-time whitening is done by the patient, using with transparent foils which are put over the teeth and which contain low concentrations of chemicals. The results are slower, but this is less aggressive for the tooth surface.
Inside of the crown and root of the tooth there is a dental nerve, which can become affected either by the appearance of a deep caries or by tooth injury. In these situations a root canal is done to save the tooth. Our principle is to always try to save the damaged tooth and to avoid extraction. At the A1 Dental studio root canals are done in a modern, painless way that requires only one or two visits to the dental office. We use digital devices which determine the length of tooth root, mechanically expand the root canal and make the whole procedure faster and more comfortable.
An implant is a titanium screw which is placed in the jawbone. It replaces the missing tooth root so that a prosthetic crown can be placed on it. Embedding of implants is done with local anesthesia and it lasts about 10 minutes per implant. Several weeks after placing the implant into the jawbone, a prosthetic crown or bridge can be put on top of it. The implant is successfully integrated in 97 % of cases. We use implants of renowned Swiss, Swedish and German manufacturers.
Composite fillings, known as white fillings, are aesthetic and functional alternatives that are used to repair front and side teeth. Since amalgam fillings are almost out of use, white fillings are now considered safe for use in side teeth. We use a matrix for the placing of the filling, so that the natural shape of the tooth is kept, which prevents food from falling between the teeth. We use LED lamps for polymerization, so that your fillings can last a very long time. For the selection of composite materials we chose American and German manufacturers instead of many others offered.
Composite inlays are considered one step up from composite fillings. The difference is that they are made in the dental laboratory and not in the dental office. This results in a more precise and aesthetically pleasing filling. The tooth on which we put the composite inlay is first completely cleaned, the caries removed and then its impression is taken. The laboratory production of the inlay is based on this mold. When the inlay in being put into the tooth, all the healthy parts remain intact, making this one of the least invasive procedures.
The best choice you can make for your tooth which has been damaged by caries or by an old filling is a ceramic inlay. This means that the whole filling is made of ceramic, which is much harder and more resistant than composite materials. Side teeth are especially suitable for ceramic inlays, because they require a large filling which makes them weak. Using ceramic inlays on such teeth increased their lasting period while at the same time being aesthetically pleasing.
It is a common misconception that teeth are damaged by putting a crown on it. On the contrary, properly made crowns protect the tooth beneath it. Metal-ceramic crowns have become a standard in dentistry for many years now. The base of such a crown is made of metal. This metal is in the shape of the cap which covers the whole tooth, which is then coated with a layer of ceramic. The metal cap which is in contact with the tooth can be made of gold alloy, which has very good effect on tooth, or it can be made of non-precious metal alloy. Metal-ceramic crowns are very resistant, they last long and are aesthetically pleasing.
Full ceramic crowns, which are made only from ceramic, are becoming the most popular in the last few years, because they are bio-compatible and because you can get aesthetic pleasing results. Aesthetics are achieved because there is no metal construction and light can pass through and refract the same way that it does with a natural tooth. There are several types of full ceramic crowns, but currently the most popular ones are made using zirconium ceramic. The special method used for making such crowns allows for great precision using computer scanning and mechanical production.
Dentures represent a solution for patients who have lost all or most of their teeth. Dentures are mobile replacements and which can be taken off and which are good for maintaining good hygiene. In making the dentures, we try and put that old smile back on your face, based on your photographs. If there is a need for partial dentures we will make sure that your dentures and your teeth fit together, using special attachments.
We can provide you with all sorts of oral-surgical interventions, from teeth extraction to implant embedding. Sometimes it is necessary to do a small surgical intervention in order to remove the pathological processes which are affecting the tooth root or in order to heal affected gums. We make this type of intervention, as well as complicated tooth extraction painless, by using local anesthesia. In case that there is no proper bone to insert the implant, we can create the necessary settings by lifting the bottom of the sinuses and placing a bone substitute there.
Orthodontics is the art and the science that creates a new and beautiful smile, through the process of teeth correction. In the last ten years fixed orthodontics have become very popular, and have allowed both kids and adults to straighten their teeth. Many people do not like brackets since they do not like having metal brackets being put on their teeth. At the A1 Dental studio you can get more suitable brackets which are transparent or the colour of your teeth.
The best tooth is a completely healthy tooth, and with our help and prevention you can keep it that way. Regular cleaning of tartar and tooth polishing, fissure sealing and keeping the soft tissues healthy are interventions procedures that we will do when you come for your regular check-up. We will remind you of your regular, six months check-up free of charge. We will gladly motivate our youngest patients to gain the right habits at an early age in order to manage and maintain their teeth and mouth.
With modern, digital, layered technology of scanning and computer software we are able to set implants at the place that we planned before. That way, we can avoid most of the complications which can come up during implant embedding. Also, we can show the patient, in advance, where the implant will be and how it will be placed using the future crown or bridge. Computer guided implantology makes implant embedding less painful, faster and totally predictable.

At our dental office we use digital technology and modern materials of renowned manufacturers. Our aim is to give back health to your teeth and beauty to your smile. We are always up to date with the latest trends in dental medicine. Every weekday, from 11 am to 7 pm, we are available for you. We respect our patient’s time and we will adapt to your schedule. We will remind you of every scheduled appointment and every regular check-up.

After the examination and x-ray image, we will analyze your current condition and determine the plan and course of your treatment, and all that with the teamwork of our experts.
